Georgia Anne Sanderson

Georgia Anne Sanderson, 85 of Council, Idaho started her new life with Jesus Thursday, August 15, 2024. She passed at home with family.

Born in Illinois to Dexter and Thelma Woods Georgia was a loving mother, a singer, an author, an evangelist, a diver, and a jeweler.

She loved and supported her children and prayed for them often, She was always in our corner and any time we needed her, she was there with a warm hug, a warm meal, and words of encouragement. She also had a great love for Jesus, and she never stopped witnessing His love. Georgia was most passionate about her children, feeding the homeless, and sharing the path to salvation. She was a wonderful cook and served every dish with love. Every guest was invited to church, a bible study, or a prayer meeting.

Survived by: Sons Channel A Sanderson and Alan D Sanderson (wife Deanna), Daughter Thelmalena McMahon.

Grandchildren Alexander Sanderson (Wife Brianna), Julia Diangelo (Husband Christian), Aaron Sanderson, Jasmine Webb (husband Samuel), Brenna Romig (Husband Blake), Samantha Clausen (Husband Ryan), Sabrina Richardson (Husband Adam), Zion Sanderson, Eternity Sanderson, Zipporah Sanderson, Hannah Sanderson, Elijah Sanderson, River Sanderson, Shepherd Sanderson, Patrick McMahon, Elizabeth McMahon, Rebekah McMahon, William McMahon

Great grandchildren Winston Sanderson, Jonah Webb, Marshall Webb, Henry Webb, Jeff Richardson, and (coming soon) Henry DiAngelo, Baby McMahon, and Baby Sanderson.

Predeceased by: Husband Alan Arthur Sanderson, Son Michael Sanderson, Son-in-law Christian McMahon, Brothers Dexter Woods, and Delmar Woods. Celebration of Life is to be held at Council Community Church on August 31.

She will be laid to rest at the Oddfellows Cemetery in Council.
