Looking west down Cottonwood Lane. The white house at the end of the lane was built by George Gould sometime after he settled there in 1890.

Hannibal “Seven Devils” Johnson. Johnson was a poet and was state Senator from Washington County between January 2, 1893 and March 6, 1893.

Perry McCumsey came to Meadows Valley in 1885. This photo came from a 1911 Meadows Eagle newspaper.
