A Ladies’ Tea Party in New Meadows

A great group of ladies young and old went to a fun event in New Meadows, Saturday, April 6. It was an afternoon tea with a spring hat contest and fashion show included! Ann Rehm coordinated the whole thing and Betsy Ogden emceed. Beautiful clothing and accessories were supplied by the Community House Thrift Store and made available for sale afterward. Tickets were sold ahead of time and all proceeds were given to the Community Center where the shindig was held. I heard through the grapevine that it was “a topnotch social event” and “everyone had a smashing good time!”
