BnB Farms in Cambridge

BnB Farms was founded by the Mosekian family and has engaged in agriculture since 1935 in Fresno, California, covering multiple generations. From the start, they prioritized offering the highest quality products at a reasonable price. They envisioned staying in Fresno permanently, with no plans to move elsewhere. However, as their children matured, circumstances shifted; their eldest son relocated after completing college, expressing his desire to farm, but not in California. Subsequently, their daughter chose to attend Boise State for her higher education. Not long after, the family opted to relocate and shift their farming operations to Idaho. In 2018, the Mosekian family seized a remarkable chance to purchase their current ranch in Cambridge. Previously owned by the Wilkerson family, who settled there in 1863, the ranch holds historical significance. The White Barn, currently still in operation at the ranch, was built during the presidency of Abraham Lincoln and finished in 1866, prior to Idaho becoming a state.
This was something they hadn’t anticipated, yet here they are.
They have encountered numerous challenges due to the differences in farming practices between California and Idaho. Due to the brief growing season, varying weather conditions, soil types, and planting schedules, they faced a steep learning experience. The numerous laws and regulations in California, along with rising gang-related issues, made farming quite challenging. In Idaho, they are able to return to genuine farming with a sense of security. Alongside the large farming community in Cambridge and the Wilkerson Family, the previous owners of their farm, the Mosekian have been acquiring knowledge about farming in Idaho and have achieved success.
The Mosekian family operates a ranch spanning over 1200 acres, situated just east of Cambridge along Highway 95. On the property, they cultivate more than 650 acres of hay and maintain a herd of 50 cows on the rest of the land. The family is proud to provide the nearby communities with high-quality beef, delivered straight from farm to table.
The Mosekians place a strong emphasis on agricultural education and understanding the origins of our food, as well as the significance of supporting nearby farmers and ranchers. They find it incredibly thrilling to highlight the importance of this field, as it is a profession that is declining. It brings immense joy to their family to demonstrate the origins of our food and emphasize that it should not be sourced from factories. They receive fantastic feedback for offering some of the most delicious beef available.
BnB Farms is also a participant in Harvest Host, a network of farms, wineries, breweries, golf courses, and community hosts that welcome members to spend the night in a secure and distinctive setting while traveling.
