Girls Results

After the Council Girls won the Long Pin District Championship they departed for the state tournament on Thursday the 15th. They were escorted out of town by a fire truck and a sheriff’s deputy with lights and sirens blaring.

The Council Girls beat Salmon River in the Quarterfinals 71-43. Next, they lost to Kendrick in the Semifinals 57-44. The girls ended up 5th overall in the state tournament.

Boys Results

The Council Boys met the Tri-Valley Titans last Tuesday the 13th in the Long Pin District Tournament opener. Council won 69-50.

On the 14th, Council lost to Cascade 65-57 in the next round of the district tournament. They are scheduled to play Salmon River on the 21st, 6:00 p.m. at McCall-Donnelly HS. Tri-valley plays Horseshoe Bend on the 21st at 7:30 p.m. at McCall-Donnelly HS.

If both Council and Tri-Valley win their upcoming games they will meet again in game 7 on Friday the 23rd.
