A vision that began last fall has now become a visible point of pride for the Cambridge community, thanks to the efforts of the Cambridge FFA officer team.

Seeking to make a lasting impact, the officer team applied for a semester-long National FFA Living to Serve grant with the goal of enhancing the town’s main corridor. Their idea: install decorative street banners that would add character and beauty to downtown Cambridge.

After developing their designs, the officers took the next step by meeting with Mayor Loveland to present their proposal. With strong local support, the project moved forward to the City Council, where it gained further approval.

The process required coordination and community partnerships. Working alongside Idaho Power and with the assistance of Jon Thulander and CTC, who provided a bucket truck for installation, the project steadily came to life.

Today, the banners proudly line the main street, offering a fresh and welcoming look to residents and visitors alike. The project stands as a testament to the dedication of the Cambridge FFA and the power of collaboration within a small community.

Through initiative, teamwork, and local support, the Cambridge FFA has successfully turned an idea into a lasting contribution—one that will be appreciated for years to come.
