CHS Girls Advance to District Tournament Final

On Saturday February 3rd the #1 seed Council Girls Varsity BasketBall won their first Long Pin District tournament game against #4 seed Garden Valley. The final score was 55-28.
Senior Rhianna Iveson scored 19 points with 5 rebounds, 4 steals and 2 assists. Junior Ava Eppich scored 17 points with 16 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 block. Senior Hope Zollman scored 9 points and had 7 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 assist.
Council Girls are scheduled to play #2 seed Tri-Valley on Thursday February 8th, 7:30 p.m. at the Council High School. The winner of this game is the winner of the Long Pin District and advances to the state tournament.
