In a February 21st article reporting on the Council City Council we reported that “Mayor Bruce Gardner said the city cannot afford to have an animal control officer, and that it was possible the dogs had damaged private property and the owners of that property did what they could to protect their property.”
The City of Council would like to add that they contract with the Adams County Sheriff’s Office to enforce City Ordinances, which includes responding and resolving all animal control issues.
