Council Chamber of Commerce Annual Member Meeting

This past Friday the 26th, the Council Chamber of Commerce held it’s annual membership meeting at the American Legion Hall. New board members were selected and plans for the year were discussed.

Shani Smith will continue as the President of the Chamber with Katie Church, Tiffany Landweer and Sue Korte continueing as the Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer, respectively.

New board members for 2024 are Channel Sanderson, Jean & Justin Hunt, Kati Sheldon and Derrick Christian. Cheyenne Bennion, Ryan Baldwin, David Church and Lauren Harris will continue their terms as board members.

This year’s events were discussed as well as redesigning and updating the porcupine logo. There will be a contest to redesign the porcupine so keep an eye out for that on the Chamber’s social media pages.

The Chamber formed a sub-committee to make progress on the proposed highway signs for the town that will be placed both to the north and south of town
