Council HS Basketball Wins on Senior Night

Both the Council High Varsity Girls & Boys Basketball teams defeated Salmon River in their games on Monday night.

The defending state champions girls basketball team beat Salmon River 67-41. Rhianna Iveson was the Council girls point leader with 30 points.

With this win the girls are the regular season Long Pin Champions. The girls team has 3 seniors graduating later this year: Cora Bingham, Rhianna Iveson and Hope Zollman.

The boys team has 5 seniors graduating: Aiden Adkisson, Malachi Goodwin, Dahlton Bingham, Jaxon Thomas and Mason Roberts.

Council boys won their game 78-23 with their points leader Decker McLinn with 16 points.
