Council students at Brundage on March 12th.

Hard work pays off. The CHS Associated Student Body (ASB) gave students with the will to work hard to get C’s and above the chance to participate in a ski reward trip on March 12th. The students who went had fun in the fresh powder, on jumps and hanging out with friends for a fun-filled day on the mountain. Not everyone had to be in the snow; some of the students who earned the trip spent their day in the lodge, playing games and hanging out with friends in the warmth. Many of the students had sore muscles after the day of hard play on the mountain. Hattie Nunn, a skilled snowboarding sophomore said “the soreness from the day on the mountain was well worth it.”

The students and staff of CHS would like to thank Brundage Mountain, who made this trip affordable with the “Lifetime Sports” program which offers a discounted package on rentals, lift tickets and lunch for local students. Everyone who went had tons of fun and students can’t wait to see what is next. “It was great to see so many kids having fun and getting rewarded for all their hard work,” says Rhianna Iveson, senior and ASB president who organized the trip. “It was an amazing day!”
