Double M Brewery Gets Local Cheers!
Veteran Owner/Brewmaster Mark McCarty recently received approval from the Adams County Board of Commissioners to build and conduct Ag Farm Wholesale Business as Double M Brewery in Council, Idaho! The property boasts beautiful, gentle slopes, perfectly suited for growing the hops and grain McCarty will use to brew his signature beers on site!
McCarty hit the ground running; creating and brewing 6 signature beers to satisfy everyone from beer connoisseur to the casual beer break. There is bound to be a favorite for everyone in this line up: Bou Beer American Dubbel, Devil’s Ink Vanilla Mash Porter, Galloping Goose India Pale Ale, Seven Devils Hazy India Pale Ale, Hells Canyon Double India Pale Ale, and Weiser Gold Honey Ale.
In addition to his 6 flagship beers, McCarty plans to brew additional boutique beers that will include limited release, seasonal flavor such as huckleberry and tropical fruit.
Using local builders and Idaho products to build his beautiful log home and Double M Brewing facility while sourcing local ingredients first for his product line, ensures a business and product Idaho can be proud of. McCarty is currently working with Hannah and Orin Kendall for local honey to produce a unique local flavor in his Weiser Gold Honey Ale.
The Double M Brewing facility is not a tasting room. National Beer Day is Sunday, April 7th! Stop in at Dad’s Place in Council for the Double M Release Party between 3-6:00 p.m.! Party Beer Flights will be offered; this board will include all 6 of the Double M beers and 6 tasting glasses served on an Idaho Beer Tasting Board for your party to sample.
