A map has been making the rounds recently portraying the amount of federal lands that would be eligible to be sold if Congress passes a version of the One Big Beautiful Bill. The version in question is being considered by the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, according to multiple news sources.

This map was produced by wilderness.org from information in this bill and includes about 250 million acres that would be eligible for sale, including over 21 million acres in Idaho, if passed.

I reached out to Senators Crapo and Risch and neither support the sale or transfer of public land, according to their press offices.
