Good Deeds in Cambridge

On Tuesday, September 3, I was driving through the town of Cambridge and as I did, I spotted a few kids and adults with red paint and brushes stopping at some of the fire hydrants. I had to figure out why.
As it happens, we have good Samaritans in our tiny town. It turns out that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Primary Activities for Girls and Boys did a service project for the City of Cambridge by painting fire hydrants and bollards at the lift stations. They had only painted half last year, so they decided to finish painting the 14 left and the 2 lift stations.
Small deeds and generosity like this can make a huge impact on not only the kids involved, but also the whole town.
The Primary Activities leaders that helped organize this project were Sandra McKee, Roshel Nixon, and Mark & Marilyn Loveland.
As for the kids who participated, the boys included Aiden, Caden, Wesly, Luke, Ricky, and Judd. The girls participating were London, Peyton, Harper, Lilly, Sydney, and Isabella.
Other adults who came to help supervise were Don & Donna Reed, Linda Kellar, Rhonda Coplen, Lena Coplen, Don Dopf, and Rodney Hollon.
Great job everybody!
