Grant Approved For More Street Improvements
At the regular meeting of the Midvale City Council Monday evening, clerk Mariah Johnson was pleased to announce that a grant application was approved for more street improvements. This grant will finish the Canary Street project and will be done in 2027.
Airport manager Jake Mikek reported that the components of the weather station have been bought and will be installed once the post is set in concrete. He asked about the availability of Internet at the airport. Councilman Boden Meyer will check with MTE on that. The station also has three cameras, pointed various directions. The pilots, or anyone, will be able to access the station, Sayweather, on their phones.

Zac Mathews of HECO Engineers was present to offer their services to prepare specs and paperwork for bids for any city street work.
After sixteen minutes the meeting adjourned. The next meeting will be May 11 at 7:00 p.m..
