The 2025 Adams County Rodeo at the fairgrounds in Council saw record attendance over the weekend. There were over 380 entries in addition to the large crowds. “It went really, really well,” said Rodeo Board Secretary Heather Paradis, ”even with the minor storm.” The rodeo saw no major injuries, although there were two close calls on Saturday, both people are doing well, according to Paradis.

Saturday evening a large storm started to roll in with ominous looking clouds, wind, and a lot of dust. The bulk of the storm stayed to the south and the rain never really materialized over the rodeo. This year there was a concert after the rodeo both Friday and Saturday night. Saturday’s headliner, Kenny Feidler, played until one in the morning, despite the storm. Paradis said Feidler was a bareback rider “He gets rodeo.”

Thank you for all the hard work that was put into this event!
