Local Election in May

For the election to be held on May 20th, both the Joint Salmon River School District and the Meadows Valley School Districts have levies on the ballot.

Some library board members could be on the ballot if someone chooses to run against them, which rarely happens.

In Council, Patty Gross and Mary Dickerson could be on the ballot; in Cambridge, Judy Worle could be on the ballot, and in New Meadows Kathleen Villeneuve and Nikki Anderson could be on the ballot, but only if someone signs up to run against them.

If a person wishes to run against someone, they have until March 21st to register to run.

This year, no one on the Midvale Library Board’s term is up, so no one is running.

Board members serve four years before they are up for election.
