Local Loggers Recognized

The Idaho Forest Group, Contractor Division held their annual meeting in Moscow on April 6, 2026.

During the recent event, local logging company High Country Logging of Council, owned and operated by Kyle Freedman and Odin Freedman, was recognized by the Idaho Forest Group, Contractor Division, as the 2025, “Logger of the Year” for the southern region.

High Country Logging and crew, were commended for their dedicated efforts and solid logging operations.
