The Meadows Valley Community Center held their Annual Tea Party and Spring Hat Contest on Saturday, April 11. The contest featured categories for Prettiest, Most Unusual, Silliest, Most Colorful, Favorite Overall, and Favorite Kids Hat. A variety of prizes were available for the winners to select from.

Guests were greeted by a celebratory mood and delicious tea service. Egg and cucumber/cream cheese tea sandwiches, a beautiful lemon and blueberry mousse, banana bread, cookies, and other sweets graced each table along with a fun variety of tea pots and tea flavors. Each guest received scented lotion as a party favor and the lovely floral arrangements were given away at the end of the party.

Community Center Secretary Ann Rehm brought her knowledge of tea time and the Community Center team together created a delightful afternoon for attendees.
