Midvale FFA Alumni and Parents Sell 200 Tri-tip Dinners

Saturday evening there was a parade of cars through Midvale going up to the high school to pick up pre-ordered tri-tip dinners. The drive-thru fundraiser was sponsored by the FFA Alumni Association and several parents pitched in to help. With all the students manning the assembly lines and pickup table, there were about 30 people working out of the shop and in the parking lot from 5-7:00 p.m. The menu included tri-tip, French bread, baked beans, salad and homemade cookies. Total sales were 200 dinners.
This drive-thru concept has been used at other schools and simplifies the serving of so many meals. It also means families can have a great meal in their own home. And do their own dishes.
The money raised will be used to fund FFA expenses for travel and competitions and other general needs.
