On November 13, 2023, New Meadows City Council had a regular meeting. All City Council members were present and Mayor Good attended via Zoom. Council President Shiloh Ryker ran the unusually short meeting.

Hunter Brown was present to give his staff report in person. He explained that the Public Works has been working on a Hydra Sling which is an apparatus that holds the water tank that would normally be in the back of a dump truck. It’s used for watering the streets etc.

Parks and Rec have been wrapping up bike a thon business, talking about the Christmas event on December 3rd and discussing youth basketball.

A bid was accepted from Kristi Scott to purchase a lot of city surplus property.

A displacement RV use permit was approved for 213 South Commercial.

The purchase of a skid steer for $38,000 from Barron Loper was approved to be funded from Water, Sewer, Streets, and Industrial Park funds.

The Consent Agenda was accepted.

Future meeting topics are a displacement RV use permit, water rate review with Tim Farrell, transportation plan update approval, and annexation training for the upcoming annexation process.
