The FFA is trying to introduce their program to the younger generation of agriculturalist to get them interested in 4-H and FFA. To do this, on February 7th, Trista Robin’s speech class, which included six members of the Council FFA chapter, went to the elementary school and talked with the classes about what 4-H and FFA is and what it means to them.

This was a great experience for the Speech kids and the elementary kids. The students in Speech got real world experience talking in front of people and the elementary kids got to learn more about 4-H and FFA and how they can be involved more in their community now, and for some, in the future. Not only did the Speech students talk about 4-H and FFA, they read books involving agriculture activities to the kids. All of the kids were very interested, gave lots of commentary feedback, and had plenty of questions to ask.
