Virginia Vieira volunteered to do alterations on dresses for recipients.

Project Prom hosted an all day event on Saturday, March 28 in Council, providing free prom dresses and accessories to local girls. Project Prom started last year, spearheaded by local realtor and former beauty queen Cheyenne Warner-Bennion. This year they had so many donations that they had to move from their original location in the Council Valley Free Library community room to a bigger venue, so they set up at the Council Senior Center. Seamstress Virginia Vieira brought her sewing machine and volunteered to do alterations on the stop for the girls.

It was a great event! Thank you to everyone who helped make Project Prom possible and especially to The Council Valley Library for being a donation station, Huptye and Wild at Heart Salon for donating prizes, Virginia Vieira, and the Council Senior Center for hosting the event, and all the volunteers that helped everyone who came feel beautiful!
