Southern District Horse Bowl 2026

The fresh faces of the Cuddy Mountain Riders 4-H club traveled to Fruitland to compete in the 2026 Southern District Horse Bowl on Saturday, March 7. With their custom shirts and small-town charm, they represented Adams County with gusto. What they lack in age and experience, they more than make up for with their tenacity and wit. With the majority of them being just 8 years old, they were the youngest group in attendance.

Competing against teams much older with several years of experience under their belt, did little to discourage this spunky crew. With the unwavering guidance and encouragement from their coach, Mesa Ivey, they walked into every room with confidence. While the day may not have ended with a win, they are more motivated than ever to expand their knowledge and prepare for next year.
