St. Patrick’s Day Story Hour

On Saturday, March 14th, there was a special St. Patrick’s Day themed story hour at the Council Valley Free Library. The story hour was led by Council resident Danielle Perino, who helped to organize the story time with the library. The children who attended read stories, danced, sang songs, and made leprechaun traps to catch their very own leprechaun! There were shamrocks for everyone and everyone had fun!
Perino hopes to hold a special themed story hour once a month at the library with stories, snacks, songs, and crafts, and is helping to organize another special story time for April, this time with an Easter theme! In addition to stories, music, and a craft project, there will also be snacks and free pictures with the Easter Bunny with a beautiful Easter balloon backdrop that will be set up at the library! Easter Story hour will be on Saturday, April 12th, at 10:00 a.m. at the Council Valley Free Library. The event is free and all are welcome!
