Summers Named 2026 Cambridge Rodeo Grand Marshals
It is our great pleasure to introduce the 2026 Cambridge Rodeo Grand Marshals — Mike and Angel Summers — in honor of their lifelong dedication to 4-H, community, youth, and the traditions that make Cambridge, Idaho such a special place to call home.
Mike and Angel both attended Cambridge High School and were married on March 17, 1990. Together, they built a beautiful life rooted in family, hard work, and service to others. Their two sons, Matt and Ryan, were born in 1990 and 1993, and together they built Summers Ranch in Cambridge, where they raised their family and created a home filled with love, laughter, and open doors.
Mike and Angel cherished time spent with family and friends, often opening their home during the holidays so everyone could gather together. They had a special gift for making everyone feel welcome. Whether it was nieces, nephews, cousins, lifelong friends, or neighbors, people always knew they had a place at the Summers’ table. They were also devoted grandparents to their grandson, Gabe, who brought them endless joy.
Their love for family was matched only by their love for community.
Both Mike and Angel were deeply involved in the Cambridge community and were passionate supporters of local 4-H and FFA programs. They believed strongly in investing in young people and preserving the values and traditions of rural life. They were constant supporters of youth programs, community events, and organizations that made Cambridge stronger.
Some people leave a lasting mark on a community simply by always showing up, giving back, and supporting others without ever asking for recognition. Mike and Angel Summers were two of those people.
Whether it was supporting events like Hells Canyon Jam, the Cambridge Rodeo, encouraging local youth, volunteering their time, or quietly helping wherever help was needed most—they were always there. They believed in this community, in our kids, and in creating something better for the next generation.
Their kindness, generosity, and genuine love for people helped shape so much of what makes Cambridge special today.
Hells Canyon Jam, the Cambridge Rodeo, and our entire community are better because of Mike and Angel Summers.
Their legacy of love, support, and service will continue to live on through the countless lives they touched.
We are proud to honor Mike and Angel Summers as the 2026 Cambridge Rodeo Grand Marshals.
