Mrs. Robyn Warner’s 6th grade class at Council Elementary wrote short essays about Thanksgiving and what they are thankful for. Several were printed last week and more are below.

Noah Lantz

My friends because they always hangout with me and eat lunch with me. They also give me someone to talk to. I’m thankful for family because they give me food, somebody to talk to and many more great things. I’m thankful for God because He created everything and gave me everything I’m thankful for.

Sutter McLinn

I am thankful for all my family for always supporting me. I am thankful for all of my basketball/football coaches so we could play. I’m thankful for all my friends for always being nice to me. I’m thankful for God because he created us and loves us. I’m thankful for sports because they are very fun and important to me.

I am thankful for my brothers Thatcher, Porter, Granger and how to play basketball. And I thank my other brother Granger for always playing with me. And I’m grateful to have food to eat and clothes on my back.

Ryker Balderson

I am thankful for: my mom for being a good cook and she is the best. I’m thankful for my dad because he takes me on snowmobile rides and he helps me do stuff. I am thankful for God because he brought me into the world and a lot more. I’m thankful for my family because they get food for the family and they keep me healthy. I am thankful for my brother for sticking up for me and riding with me. I look up to him and he takes me hunting.

Alyssa Toombs

I am thankful for ice cream because me and my Papa used to eat it in bed before he passed away five years ago. Another thing I’m thankful for is police officers. My Papa was a police officer before he passed away.
