Attention Cambridge, a fresh dining experience is on its way! The Salty Heifer Cattle Co. is a food truck that we hope to see in Cambridge at least once a week. What began as a cattle business that sold beef, evolved into a love for cooking and a desire to find ways to utilize ground beef.
The Salty Heifer is a family-owned and operated business based in Weiser, Idaho. During the pandemic in 2020, The Cattle Company experienced a surge in demand as people sought locally sourced beef, but observed that ground beef was not as popular. Recognizing the necessity to use ground beef, they chose to transform the challenge into the aspiration they had for a food truck. They dedicated several years to experimenting with and perfecting recipes that they were confident no one could resist! You can be assured of finding them at the newly opened Raindrop Coffee Shop, previously known as the Round Up Coffee House.
