I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I was going to stay home this year, but the universe had other plans for me. A friend that I do Chair Yoga with invited me to have dinner with her, her husband, and a neighbor. I said yes.
It feels so odd for me to be writing for a date one week ahead of where I am. I can’t tell you anything about my holiday yet, because it hasn’t happened. But you will read this after the Thanksgiving holiday.
At any rate, we are well on our way to Christmas now—only 27 more days. It’s only six more days until our next Bingo Game (Dec. 4, 2025, @ six pm) and eight more days to our Cookie and Candy Extravaganza (Sat. Dec. 6th @ 3:00 p.m.).I hope you can find time to join us for some fun and frivolity before you have to finish tying up all the loose ends of your Christmas Dinners and gift-giving.
I want to thank the members of our community who graciously donated to our November Food Pantry; you know who you are. You are a blessing to all of us, and your generosity is much appreciated. Thank you!
Our Annual Meeting to elect new board members and address any organizational business will be held on Wednesday, December 10th, right after lunch. If you have paid your dues, you can vote on anything brought before the membership.

It’s time for the menu: Wednesday, December 3rd: Beef stew, Carrots, Onions, Celery, Potatoes, Biscuits, salad, Peaches, and Bread Pudding. Friday, December 5th: Chicken Enchilada Casserole, Refried Beans, Salad, Peaches, and Dessert. Wednesday, December 10th: Hot Pork Sandwich, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Peas, Applesauce, Salad, and Strawberry Poke Cake.
