I am drawing a blank, which isn’t hard for me to do these days. So, I will keep this short and to the point.
If you would like a nice cool place to enjoy lunch and to visit, come have lunch with us. We serve lunch at 12 noon on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. For Take-Out Meals, please call in your order by 10:00 a.m. and pick up is from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. If you are ordering multiple meals please try and call in the day before. The August menus are ready for pick up at the Center.
The menu for the coming week: Friday August 8th: Sloppy Jo Sandwich, Oven Fried Potatoes, Corn, Green Salad, Fruit, and Dessert. Tuesday August 12th: Tacos with all the Trimmings, Refried Beans, Spanish Rice, Corn, Fruit, and Dessert. Wednesday August 13th: Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes w/Gravy, Green Beans, Roll, Green Salad, Fruit, and Dessert.
Since our next Bingo falls on same Friday as the Music Festival we decided to postpone it till August 22nd. There still hasn’t been a winner for the Black Out. I had the amount for it wrong in last week’s paper. The Black Out pot now is up to $190, and Jared will be calling 64 numbers. Unless something comes up, we have bingo on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month. For new players, folks start showing up around 6:30 p.m. or after and Jared starts calling at 7:00 p.m. It costs a quarter per card, and you can play as many cards as you want.
