The center has a new cook. His name is Quintin, and although he has worked in restaurants before this is his first experience with our type of cooking. He is eager to learn so if anyone has a menu suggestion, please let us know. We did make one menu change as I forgot Easter. So April 3rd we will have our Easter Lunch of Ham.
We serve lunch at 12 noon on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. For Take-Out Meals, please call in your order by 10:00 a.m. and pick up is from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. If you are ordering multiple meals please try and call in the day before. I’m working on the April Menus.
The menu for the coming week: Friday April 3rd: Baked Ham, Scalloped Potatoes, Green Beans, Roll, Green Salad, Fruit, and Dessert. Tuesday April 7th: Finger Steaks, Tater Tots, Carrots, Bread, Green Salad, Fruit, and Dessert. Wednesday April 8th: Creamy Garlic Chicken over Rice, Peas, Cheesy Bread, Green Salad, Fruit, and Dessert.
Our next Bingo will be on April 3rd. Since no one won the blackout the pot will increase to $60 and Jared will be calling 51 numbers. Unless something comes up, we have bingo on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month. For new players, folks start showing up around 6:30 p.m. or after and Jared starts calling at 7:00 p.m. It costs a quarter per card, and you can play as many cards as you want.
