The Adams County Historical Society’s History Night at the Depot series continues on Tuesday, June 24th at 7:00 p.m. Free admission. The fruit company was once one of the largest privately owned fruit companies in the United States. Hear about the ups and downs, successes and failures, and large construction projects the owners undertook to make the company successful including miles long flumes for irrigation and tram systems for moving harvested fruit from one location to another. The presentation will be at the P. & I.N. Railway Depot’s Freight Room auditorium at 101 S. Commercial Avenue in New Meadows.
