I was about to embark on my time away from the senior center when it occurred to me that I hadn’t made arrangements for someone to write my column.
This will be a reminder list of things left to do in March, along with this week’s menu. Our Food Pantry will be held on Wednesday, March 18th, from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. Our monthly shopping trip will go on Thursday, March 19th, provided we have enough riders. If you have signed up to go, please check whether there are enough people to go.
Our Foot Clinic will be held on Monday, March 23rd. Appointments are needed. Call (208) 257-3358 to schedule yours. Our next Menu Committee meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 24th, at 1:00 p.m. If you are interested in serving on this committee, please call (208) 257-3358 and ask to speak with Ursula.
I will be back in the center on Friday, March 20th. If you need to get a hold of me before then, you can call me on my cell at (208) 550-1632.
Time to tell you what’s for dinner this week: Wednesday, March 18th: Teriyaki Chicken over Rice, Green Beans, Wheat Roll, Salad, Peaches, and Chocolate pie. (I may have to order takeout.) Friday, March 20th: Your choice of Combination, Chicken Alfredo, Hawaiian, or Pepperoni Sausage and Mushroom Pizza. Salad, Peaches, and Ice Cream Bars. Wednesday, March 25th: Oven Fried Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Corn, Coleslaw, Wheat Roll, Pears, and Carrot Cake.
