We had a good turnout for our Thanksgiving Lunch on the 19th. After lunch we had the drawing for the raffle for the Unicorn collection. Elee’s great-grandson, Tim, drew the winning ticket. The winner was Liz, one of our volunteers.
We serve lunch at 12 noon on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. For Take-Out Meals, please call in your order by 10:00 a.m. and pick up is from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. If you are ordering multiple meals please try and call in the day before. The Center will be closed on November 28th. The December Menus are ready for pick up.
The menu for the coming week: Friday November 28th: CLOSED. Tuesday December 2nd: French Dip Sandwich w/Au Jou, Mixed Vegetables, Pasta Salad, Green Salad, Fruit, and Dessert. Wednesday December 3rd: Shepard’s Pie, Mashed Potatoes w/Gravy, Roll, Green Salad, Fruit, and Dessert.
Our next Bingo will be on December 5th. There was no blackout winner so the pot goes to $100 and Jared will be calling 55 numbers. Unless something comes up, we have bingo on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month. For new players, folks start showing up around 6:30 p.m. or after and Jared starts calling at 7:00 p.m. It costs a quarter per card, and you can play as many cards as you want.
