I would like to express a THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to Caleb Shumway and John Stone for being HONEST!! They were checking sewer lines. After lifting the manhole cover, they spotted the ring! Finding the owner shows they are honest, going over and beyond the call of duty! Kudos to both men!!
I answered my door Tuesday morning, to a fellow from the City of Council. I thought he was going to tell me particulars regarding the replacement of water lines in our neighborhood. Instead, he asked if we had lost anything down the sewer. YES... my husbands gold nugget and diamond ring, a year or so ago. My husband has Alzheimer’s and was very upset when the ring slipped off of his finger.
Caleb smiled, then unfolded a napkin containing the ring!! I saw it, immediately tearing up! My day was made!!! Thank you again!!!
