It’s the start of another long weekend for some of us. Memorial Day is on Monday, May 25th. It’s a day for us to remember those Americans who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces.
So while we are enjoying our picnics, with family and friends, let’s raise a toast of thanks to those who have given their all so that we might enjoy our way of life. Let’s remember those young men and women who are serving in today’s military and may be called upon at a moment’s notice to defend our nation’s collective values. Happy Memorial Day!
Menu: Wednesday, May 27th: Roast Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Corn, Coleslaw, Mixed fruit, Wheat Rolls, and Magic Cookies. Friday, May 29th: Costco All-Beef Hot Dogs, Salad, sauerkraut, French Fries, Mixed Fruit, and Dessert. Wednesday, June 3rd: Roast Pork, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Mixed Vegetables, Peaches, Wheat Rolls, salad, and Chocolate Brownies.
