The Meadows Valley Fire Department will be hosting the third annual Introduction to Rope Rescue training event for first responders. The training will be held on Saturday, October 4 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Meadows Valley Fire Station. The training is FREE to all first responders, including firefighters, EMT / paramedics, law enforcement officers, search and rescue technicians, members of ski patrols, etc. Training will include a classroom session explaining equipment followed by practicing methods learned in the classroom at a local quarry.
