Two simple words are not enough to express appreciation to all the volunteers (and maybe some voluntolds) for putting on all the different activities over the 4th and 5th. But these words are all we have.
If you enjoyed (despite the monsoon) the parade, porcupine races, kids play area, sunrise flag ceremony, vendors market, Loggers Jubilee, (AKA the Saw Contest), Car Show, live music, the fireworks or any other activity, be sure to thank a volunteer.
The Council Chamber of Commerce takes the lead organizing this event every year for the community with the help of other non-profits and groups. Thanks to this group effort Council has something special to be proud of.
If you helped with an event over the weekend in any capacity - thank you for making this holiday an attraction that people drive hours to see.
