We have all heard the definition of insanity as doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Idaho voters have elected the same people into office for decades. Many people routinely vote for a member of “their team,” even though the result has been a deadlocked Congress that continually slings insults but does little or nothing constructive.
There is an alternative to this insanity, and that is electing an Independent Senator who will back common sense measures without being subject to the whims and biases of either party.
The good news is that there is such an Independent candidate running for U.S. Senate – Todd Achilles.
Todd doesn’t seem like a typical, slick politician. He is one of the most likable, down-to-earth, common sense people you will ever meet. He is very knowledgeable about policy and legislation and has military, business, and public-service leadership experience. He will not take corporate PAC money because that IS the problem in Congress.
