The upcoming Primary on May 19th is THE ELECTION for our next governor. Because Idaho is a strong conservative, Republican state and because there doesn’t appear to be any strong Democrat contenders, whomever wins the Republican primary will win the governorship in the November election. It is IMPORTANT that everyone engage to make your vote count. By November it will already be a done deal.
It’s the same for our County elections. Whomever wins the primary on May 19th will be your new County Coroner, County Clerk, County Assessor, County Treasurer, and County Commissioners. Again, by November it will already be decided and your General Election vote will simply confirm the choices of the May 19th primary.
In this election Brad Little has a very viable conservative contender, Mark Fitzpatrick. However, we won’t see a debate between them, as the governor has ignored such requests. Nevertheless, the Ada County GOP has published question surveys for both candidates.
