Beverly Ann Galloway passed away peacefully on November 5, 2025, at the age of 89. She was born on September 19, 1936, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Arthur and Mary J. (Lachman) Nebe.
Beverly was raised in Omaha, Nebraska, before her family later moved to California, where she graduated from Grossmont High School in La Mesa, California, in 1954. It was there she met the love of her life, O.K. Galloway, through a close friend who would later become her sister-in-law. Beverly and O.K. were married in 1959, beginning a lifelong partnership filled with devotion, laughter, and family.
In 1973, they relocated to Indian Valley, Idaho, where they made their home and built a life together. O.K. constructed a barn that would serve as both shelter and workshop while they awaited the delivery of their Boise Cascade Manufactured home — getting the one piece home over a narrow bridge was no small feat to transport up the winding Indian Valley Road. Their hard work and determination built a lasting home filled with love.
For more than 20 years, Beverly dedicated herself to the community through her work at the Consumer Co-op in Cambridge, Idaho. Her kind heart, gentle humor, and genuine care for others earned her the friendship and admiration of many. Her customers quickly became her friends, and her commitment to her work was surpassed only by her love for her family.
Beverly cherished her time in the garden and took great pride in her flowers and yard. Later in life, she enjoyed puzzles and word games and treasured visits from her family. She found the greatest joy in the simple moments spent together and held a deep appreciation for her friends and the Indian Valley community, which she always considered her second home.
She is survived by her children, Ken (Jennifer) Galloway and Janice Galloway; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Mirriah) Galloway, Andrew (Katy) Galloway, and Micah (Licia) Galloway, Tazia Doss, and CeeAnna Derouin; great-grandchildren, Delanie, Brayden, Colt, Evan, Clayton, Carter, and Cohen. She is also lovingly remembered by her brother, Joe Nebe, along with numerous extended family members and friends.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Mary Nebe, husband O.K. Galloway, her siblings, Mary Lou Atkisson and Bernie Nebe.
The family will host a Celebration of Life in the spring of 2026. An announcement will be shared at a later date with details, so that all who wish to attend may join the family in honoring Beverly’s life.
