
Grace L. Schrepple passed away in Cambridge, Idaho on Tuesday April 8, 2026 at age 99. She was the wife of Lee S. Schrepple (deceased 2016) of Hamburg, PA.
She was born at home in Tilden Township, Berks County, PA November 10, 1926. She was the youngest daughter of the late James and Agnes (Loose) Trump, and little sister to seven brothers and sisters.
Grace was a 1944 graduate of Hamburg High School in Hamburg, PA. Her first job was at Burkey Knitting Mills inspecting clothing for the troops in WW2 and she later worked as a beautician in Reading and at Society Cleaners in Hamburg. She met Lee roller skating after the war and they were married in 1946. They lived happily on the Mountain Road outside Hamburg for 65 years. Grace liked gardening, watching the birds and deer and visits from the relatives.
Grace was a member of Salem Berne United Methodist Church and a member of the Hawk Mountain Civic Club.
Grace moved to Idaho in 2020 and lived in Idaho for 6 years, until she passed. Moving in with daughter Linda, she had many adventures. She traveled back to PA for family reunions 5 times, starting at the age of 94, and to Hawaii to visit her beloved granddaughter, Jaeda. She went to various musicals, jazz concerts in Boise, Christmas shows, etc. and always celebrated her birthday at Rupert’s in McCall with 5 to 10 other women. She celebrated her 99th birthday there in style. She became friends with Linda’s friends, who are all sad to see her pass. Everyone misses her beautiful smile.
She is survived by son Jeffrey L. husband of Carol Schrepple, Seabeck, Washington, daughter, Linda K. wife of John Moyer, Council, Idaho, son Scott A. husband of Shawn Schrepple, Boyertown, PA and daughter-in-law, Julia Stefanelli, Arlington, Virginia wife of son Jerry L. (deceased 2016). Three grandchildren, Molly Schrepple, Jaeda Moyer, Lilly Moyer-McKee (Max) and one great-grandson Miles Moyer-McKee also survive.
Grace was flown to Pennsylvania to be buried by her husband of 67 years, Lee, following a service at the beautiful church in the countryside which her ancestors founded. She will be sorely missed.
